Just read this on the WRAL website. It seems a “processing error” happened at a company RBC Centura bank uses to process debit card transactions, left people drained of their bank accounts and their purchases by debit card were declined. One person was missing $25k from their account…WOW!
As of this morning the bank has assured customers that their money is safe and everything is fixed. Yeah right. I think it was a test. With our society becoming more and more dependent on automated services, this was bound to happen. Now that whomever was responsible has condcuted a feild test of this ability to take people’s monies, it is just a matter of time before we are hit again with the same thing.
Or they may launch it at our enemies abroad to steal their liquid assets and fill our coffers. Whichever path happens, it is going to be another dark day in our history.
